The City Clerk’s Office is located in City Hall at 5484 Main Drive and is open from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday.
The City Clerk is the official record keeper and custodian of all public records for the City of New Hope which includes minutes, resolutions, ordinances, contracts, codes, and all financial information. Additionally, the City Clerk serves as the City’s Chief Election Official and is responsible for all municipal elections.
The City Clerk’s Office issues various licenses and permits, maintains resolutions and ordinances, handles records requests, and coordinates municipal elections. The City Clerk’s Office is also responsible for the receipt, distribution and expenditure of all city funds.
City Council Meetings and Work Session
The City Council of the City of New Hope holds two regularly scheduled meetings per month on the first and third Mondays of the month at 6:00 P.M, work sessions are held as needed normally at 5:30 P.M. preceding each meeting.
The City Clerk attends all city council meetings and is responsible for the council agendas as well as the council minutes of the meeting Agenda requests are due on Wednesday by 12:00 pm prior to the meeting date. The Agenda Request Form will be reviewed by the Mayor prior to being placed on the agenda.
Minutes of the City Council meetings and work session are available by Public Record Request through the City Clerk’s Office.
Other Services:
Notary Public Services are available free of charge for New Hope Residents during operating hours.
Certified Copies are available by Public Record Request and are required to be submitted in person.
