New Hope Mayor Roger Walling and the New Hope City Council would like to invite anyone interested in the city’s new comprehensive plan, “HOMETOWN New Hope”, to come review the initial draft of the plan and share their comments/ priorities. The Comprehensive Plan is an action-oriented city-wide planning process to make New Hope a better place to Live, Work, and Play. The comprehensive plan was developed based on feedback provided by our citizens as well as data driven research. The plan addresses a variety of issues, including land use, transportation, housing, recreation, economic development, and more.
Join us for an Open House event anytime between 2:30 and 6:30 PM on Tuesday, September 30th, at. New Hope City Hall (5484 Main Dr, New Hope, AL 35760). At the Open House event, attendees will have the opportunity to review and discuss the plan’s goals and recommendations with consultants and city staff. This is a public process, and the city needs people to provide their feedback to ensure the draft plan aligns with the community vision established at the Public Visioning meeting earlier this year.
